Berks County teams take home first and second place prizes at statewide STEM competition

Teams from the Gov. Mifflin and Daniel Boone school districts took home honors in a statewide STEM contest. The STEM Design Challenge asked students to use K Nex building blocks and recycled materials to design and build something to make a household appliance safer or more environmentally friendly. Teams of two-to-four students had to design, build and present their creations. The presentations were done virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. - Advertisement - The competition was broken into two categories.
