Yesterday, as reported by Mlive.com, The Michigan Brewer s Guild announced their decision to cancel the annual Winter Beer Festival which was slated for February 27th in Comstock Park.
I m not a beer drinker.yet. I have a feeling living in Michigan will change that for me. But, even I, someone who is brand new to the area, am disappointed to hear this announcement. And I understand people s frustration at the continuous cancellation of anticipated events. From what I read, the Winter Beer Festival normally includes not just beer but live music, turkey legs, festive costumes and man.I MISS these kinds of events. I want to gorge on delicious food, buy handcrafted items I don t need, sit back and listen to local bands.however, the strike of midnight tonight doesn t magically erase the current situation. So, here we are. ....
