The Bush Foundation of St. Paul has announced the 2021 Bush Fellows, who will each receive a $100,000 grant.
The Foundation gives away grants annually to community leaders in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
“These 24 Fellows are committed to strengthening their capacity to lead large-scale, equitable change,” said Vice President of Grantmaking Anita Patel. ....

Zapko has been praised on social media for her spirited delivery during the briefings. Zapko, 49, of Bloomington, is the first deaf sign language interpreter to work for the state.
