WORTHINGTON With $204,000 in interest money available to spend on projects that improve water quality within a 12-mile radius of the city of Worthington, members of the E.O. Olson Trust received few options for spending it during their annual meeting Thursday morning.
The five-member board comprised of Nobles County commissioners Bob Demuth and Donald Linssen, Worthington Public Utilities representative Deb Weg, Worthington Mayor Mike Kuhle and citizen member Jack Sliver ultimately dedicated $92,780.35 toward replacement of, or improvements to, the Lake Okabena dam.
