Talks continue on canal towpath reconstruction

DELPHOS Talks continue among the Delphos Canal Commission, city
officials and Ohio Department of Natural Resources representatives on
enhancing the Miami-Erie Canal Towpath through Delphos.
The reconstruction of the towpath from Deep Cut south of Spencerville to the Delphos City Limits has been completed.
“We
have a lot to offer here in Delphos for those who would use the trial,”
Canal Commission President Steve Dorsten said Wednesday. “There are the
three locks, two wonderful museums and other amenities.”
The city celebrates the canal and its history with the annual Canal Days event. ....
