“I still think what could have happened,” Edwards said. “I had nightmares that night.”
“At that moment, I just kind of blanked out,” he said.
Edwards called for help and posted a video on social media hoping someone knew something about the little girl.
“I can’t stop crying. I don’t even know what to think right now. I’m praying to God it’s some kind of mistake,” Edwards said in the video.
Authorities said they were able to get the child to safety and started trying to locate the toddler’s family. ....

Oil Demand Is Recovering Despite Vaccination Hiccups


A year after the pandemic and a price war sparked one of the weakest months in history for oil prices, the global energy market is well on its way to recovery, the International Energy Agency said Wednesday.
In its monthly report, the IEA raised its annual forecast for global oil demand in 2021 by 230,000 barrels a day to an increase of 5.7 million barrels a day. Earlier in the week, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries increased its 2021 demand forecast by 100,000 barrels a day. While the Paris-based organization’s forecast recovery will still leave demand 3% short of 2019 levels, investors will likely take the agency’s increased demand forecast for the final quarter of 2021 as a sign that consumption is on its way to recovering. ....

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The Richmond Fire Department said it rescued an intoxicated man who was stuck on a roof.
Crews were called shortly after 11 a.m. Monday, April 5, to the 1800 block of West Broad Street for a man who was stuck on the roof of a building.
At the scene, crews said they determined that he was intoxicated and couldn’t get down a ladder safely. ....

The short and truncated week gone by had a mere three trading days but was highly volatile. Each of the three days saw the benchmark indices move by more than 1 per cent with Tuesday, which was the first day of the week seeing a movement in excess of 2 per cent. Markets gained on two of the three days. BSESENSEX gained 1,021.33 points or 2.08 per cent to close at 50,029.83 points, while NIFTY gained 360.05 points or 2.48 per cent to close at 14,867.35 points. The broader indices saw BSE100, BSE200 and BSE500 gained 2.42 per cent, 2.62 per cent and 2.70 per cent respectively. BSEMIDCAP was up 2.73 per cent, while BSESMALLCAP was up 3.91 per cent. There were no sectoral losers during the week with BSEMETAL gaining 8.54 per cent on the back of an expected stimulus in the US which would lead to increased spending on infrastructure. ....
