Psychiatric hospital in Middleton to open to patients soon

Miramont Behavioral Health, a 72-bed psychiatric hospital under construction in Middleton for nearly three years, is expected to open to patients as soon as this month.
The facility will add to Dane Countyâs 100 inpatient psychiatric beds, offering inpatient and outpatient care for children, adolescents, adults and seniors along with chemical-dependency treatment for adults and an around-the-clock intake center, company officials have said.
With the county last month hiring a consultant to implement a planned Mental Health Triage and Restoration Center, Miramont will also help keep people with mental health crises out of jail and the Winnebago Mental Health Institute in Oshkosh, local officials said. ....

Doña Ana County Crisis Triage Center 'weeks' away from opening

LAS CRUCES - Two key leadership roles have been filled at the the Doña Ana County Crisis Triage Center, and one of them, the facility s new site director, told county elected officials the long-unused building was weeks away from finally opening.
Trained staff at the Crisis Triage Center will receive patients experiencing a crisis linked to behavioral health, mental health or substance abuse issues, evaluate and stabilize patients in stays lasting 24 hours or less before connecting them with outpatient services.
Recovery Innovations International, the Arizona-based crisis care provider for the facility, has chosen Karina Diaz to be the center s site director. ....

Sometimes you’ve got to hit rock bottom before you can reach the top. Kehli Saucier has personally experienced that, but through her determination and an abundance of kindness and compassion for others in similar situations, she has flipped the script on her own life and is helping many people follow suit.
Kehli’s father was in the Air Force, and she had what she referred to as an average military family childhood: living in several places and never staying in one place for too long. She had always identified as a “loner,” but this was significantly exacerbated after surviving a fatal car crash in high school. She woke up after five weeks in a coma and had extensive injuries, including a broken neck and traumatic brain injury. This was just the beginning of the many physical and mental challenges she would face. ....
