Teton County School District No. 1 advised Munger Mountain Elementary School families on Friday that students who rode Bus 17 in the morning or afternoon this past week may have been exposed to a COVID-19-positive individual.
âDue to the large number of students this may impact, it is being sent to the entire school,â Principal Scott Eastman said in an email. âPlease disregard if your student did not ride Bus 17 this week.â
A possible exposure does not mean a child will contract the coronavirus, but parents and guardians should monitor for symptoms. Because masks were worn âappropriatelyâ at the time of the exposure, May 17 to 20, students who rode the bus can continue to come to school, and other members of the household donât have to limit their activities.
