An Adult Sauropod, an Unknown Juvenile, and a Barely-Known Ichthyosaur Fossils Found

100-million-year-old fossils have been found in the Indian state of Meghalaya and are believed to have belonged to sauropod dinosaurs. Researchers from the Geological Survey of India’s (GSI) Palaeontology division found the bones in the West Khasi Hills District.
The experts are confident that the fossils belonged to sauropod dinosaurs with a Titanosaurian origin. If they are correct, this would be first proof that these types of dinosaurs inhabited that area and the fifth Indian state to have found evidence of sauropod bones with a Titanosaurian origin. Sauropods have smaller heads, long necks, long tails, and big pillar-like legs. ....

The skeleton of a young juvenile dinosaur has been discovered in Lufeng, Southwest China s Yunnan Province. The discovery is particularly exciting as the fossil does not match that of any known genus or species of dinosaur.
Examining the fossil, which includes part of the dinosaur s skull, complete cervical vertebra, dorsal vertebra and metacarpal bone, researchers estimate that the dinosaur was about 1.7 meters long and was roughly three years old when it died, according to a press release from the Center for Vertebrate Evolutionary Biology of Yunnan University. ....

(ECNS) A 1.7-meter-long dinosaur larva fossil not belonging to any known genus has been unearthed from the Early Jurassic strata in Lufeng, Yunnan Province, according to Yunan University on Wednesday.
The dinosaur, with leaf-shaped teeth in the fossil, is believed to have been herbivorous.
This is the second time that sauropodiform dinosaur larva fossils have been found in the Early Jurassic strata of Lufeng. The unearthed fossils include part of the skull, complete cervical and dorsal vertebrate, metacarpal bones, as well as the distal femur and proximal tibia.  ....

World First: Dinosaur Found on Fossilized Eggs with Babies Inside!

World First: Dinosaur Found on Fossilized Eggs with Babies Inside!
Scientists have made a major discovery in Ganzhou City in China’s southern Jiangxi Province. They’ve found the remains of a dinosaur sitting on its nest of fossilized eggs.
The dinosaur, an oviraptorosaur (oviraptor), belongs to a group of bird-like theropod dinosaurs which peaked during the distant Cretaceous Period (145 to 66 million years ago). The fossils of the adult oviraptor and the eggs with the embryos have been dated to roughly 70 million years old. This is the first time researchers have found a non-avian dinosaur sitting on a nest of eggs which have been fossilized so they still contain the babies inside! ....
