PRISON bars proved no barrier to romance as two fraudsters shouted I love you! over videolink from different jails after targeting an elderly victim in a fraud.
Partners in crime and love, Rudy Francis and Rebecca Ralph, both from Worcester, appeared over videolink from different prisons at the city s crown court - Francis from HMP Hewell and Ralph from Eastwood Park.
We have previously reported how both defendants were remanded in custody for fraud and money-laundering offences after a woman in her 70s had a significant amount of money stolen from her.
Both have already admitted a charge of fraud in relation to the case when they appeared before the court on January 8 this year. The amount involved was not revealed and it is understood from Jason Aris, that the Crown has yet to disclose the amount. ....
