Expressing unwavering solidarity with the Palestinians, hundreds of youths, mainly students, took part in a demonstration on Wednesday to denounce Israelâs continued attacks on Gaza, demanding that the Pakistani government and other world powers intervene to stop the deadly violence.
The protest held outside the Karachi Press Club was joined by hundreds of students and local activists. Later, they marched from the KPC towards Regal Chowk. Carrying Palestinian flags, banners and posters, the protestâs participants raised slogans in favour of Palestineâs liberation and condemning imperialism, colonialism and apartheid. ....

MWM, JI stage protests against Israeli aggression - Newspaper

Participants of the protest were chanting slogans against the US, Israel and terrorist organisation ISIS.
Speaking to participants, Allama Sadiq Jafferi said ISIS shed blood of innocent children in Ramazan, which was highly deplorable, referring to the attack on a Kabul school in which around 70 schoolgirls were martyred.
“They are using title of religion, but actually ISIS is complying with Zionist agenda of global unrest by killing peaceful citizens.”
Attacking a girls’ school in Kabul is open brutality and the silence of international human rights champions was questionable, he added.
“Aggression is also targeted to harm Shia Hazara community,” he added. ....

A number of political and religious parties have condemned the Israeli attacks on Masjid-e-Aqsa and the killing of innocent Palestinian people in carpet-bombing in the holy month of Ramazan.
PTIâs human chain The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Karachi chapter organised a protest by forming a human chain on Sharea Faisal against ongoing atrocities of the Israeli army against the Palestinian people.
The protest was attended by PTI MPAs, including Khurram Sherzaman. Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Saeed Afridi, Jamal Siddiqui, Aftab Jahangir, Ali Aziz GG and Shehzad Qureshi.
Sherzaman said the PTI had formed a human chain for solidarity with the Palestinian people to show the world that the ongoing atrocities were intolerable. âIt is time for mobilization, and all Muslim nations, particularly the OIC, must unite with one voice on Palestine,â he said. ....

A group of activists belonging to the Christian community and leaders of the minority wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami demanded of the federal government on Thursday to expel the French ambassador in protest against the French president’s blasphemous comments he had made last year.
Addressing a joint press conference at Idara Noor-e-Haq, the Christian leaders along with JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman strongly condemned the French ruling regime for hurting the sentiments of almost two billion Muslims across the globe.
The speakers urged the government to have some courage and “come out of the hysteria of economic setbacks”. On the occasion, JI leader Rehman said the difference between the exports to France and the imports from that country was not so big as to cause a collapse of the economy. ....
