Bahrain completes work at key water distribution station
MANAMA, January 24, 2021
Bahraini officials said construction of the Nabih Saleh Water Distribution Station has been completed and work is currently under way for the launch of a solar panel system on the upper reservoir.

A one-million-gallon upper tank along with accompanying pipelines and valves, and a building for electrical devices, control devices and a water chlorination system were constructed, as part of the project.

The construction of the station come as part of Ewa s strategy to develop and expand water distribution networks, in line with the directives of the government, led by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to provide the electricity and water services and meet the growing demand for them, reported ....

Bahrain municipalities record 28,397 Public Cleanliness violations | THE DAILY TRIBUNE

Bahrain recorded 28,397 violations of the Public Cleanliness Law since it came into effect in November 2020, said a top official.
Region - wise, Muharraq topped the list with 13,119 violations, followed by Capital Municipality with 8,980, the Northern Municipality with 4,999 and Southern with 1,299 violations.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, revealed this in the latest report.
“Municipalities took corrective measures as outlined in the Law,” said Sheikh Mohammed adding, “some of them are now with the Public Prosecution for further action.”
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued the Public Cleanliness Law No. (10) of 2019 on 27 May 2020 after Parliament endorsed it. ....
