Brexit speed limits lifted on Portsmouth's M275 to Isle of Wight

Early end to Brexit travel plan on Isle of Wight route through Portsmouth
Brexit planning has worked and things are running smoothly on one of the main approaches to the Isle of Wight, the Hampshire Local Resilience Forum has announced.
Three checkpoints were set up in time for January 1 - on the A31 (between Alresford and Winchester), at Tipner (just outside Portsmouth) and at the entrance to Portsmouth International Port (PIP).
Just off the M275 (the motorway into the city and the main road to the Wightlink ferry terminal), the PIP gate was prepared to cope with up to 13 queuing lorries before it impacted other traffic. ....
