Body of Norton Shores man discovered in Muskegon Lake file photo and last updated 2021-05-14 17:22:41-04 MUSKEGON, Mich. â Officers responded to reports of a water emergency in Muskegon Lake this afternoon when a subject was found unresponsive upon arrival, according to the Muskegon Police Department. We re told the discovery was made near Channel Avenue and Fulton Avenue. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities say, adding he was identified as a 69-year-old Norton Shores man. Officials are currently awaiting an autopsy report from the medical examinerâs office. The incident is currently under investigation. 1 arrested after armed robberies in Grand Haven, Norton Shores file photo and last updated 2021-03-01 09:57:53-05 GRAND HAVEN, Mich. â A 36-year-old White Cloud man was arrested early Monday morning after an armed robbery at a gas station. Officers from the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety responded about 12:45 a.m. to the Shell Gas Station in Grand Haven, according to a news release. They found the robber fleeing the scene and pursued him into Muskegon County. The robber was taken into custody by Muskegon police and lodged at the Muskegon County Jail on an armed robbery that happened in Norton Shores prior to the Grand Haven incident. ....

In anticipation of that tug arriving another will begin breaking ice from Fisherman s Landing to the Lake Michigan channel starting Saturday morning, additional ice breaking will take place Sunday too. ....
