Police investigating officer-involved shooting, pursuit in Woods Cross

Police are currently investigating an officer-involved shooting and pursuit involving a stolen vehicle in Woods Cross.
According to Chief Chad Soffe with the Woods Cross Police Department, around 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning, a stolen vehicle from Salt Lake City was located near the Mannheim Utah Facility in Woods Cross.
An officer approached the vehicle and attempted to converse with the two suspects inside the vehicle. Chief Soffe stated that the officer ultimately shot at the suspects, who then fled the parking lot in the vehicle, but he had no details on the events that led up to the shooting. ....
