COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local man with multiple warrants was arrested after he tried to flee from the Columbus Police Department (CPD) on Tuesday. Officers observed Ethen Robertson, 23, of Columbus, on State Road 46W near West Hill Shopping Center, at around 4:10 p.m.
The suspect reportedly fled on foot across S.R. 46 after seeing law enforcement. With the assistance of a CPD K9, officers were able to find the fugitive hiding in a wooded area near the roadway where he was taken into custody.
Robertson was taken to Bartholomew County Jail and charged with resisting law enforcement, plus arrest warrants from Bartholomew and Jennings Counties in Indiana and another warrant from Florida. ....
