Presumably, the odds for such a scenario are low. But it can happen. In fact, for two members of the Tennessee Titans’ 2021 draft class, it did. Safety Brady Breeze, a seventh-round pick, and cornerback Elijah Molden, a third-round choice, have a friendship that goes back to when they were children. “We re good family friends,” Breeze said. “My uncle Chad Cota and his dad, Alex Molden, were teammates at Oregon for the Gang Green back in (1994) when they played in the Rose Bowl. I ve known Elijah my whole life. So, it s pretty cool to be able to call ourselves teammates and I m definitely excited.” ....
Q: To an outsider, how would you describe the region you wish to represent geographically, economically, politically, and socially? A: Zone 7 is a great location. This is a very economically and ethnically diverse zone where it is relatively easy to find a house or apartment to fit one s budget. We have several great local parks, as well as convenient shopping at both local businesses and national chains. We have a variety of places of worship. We are close to downtown Salem and I-5. West Linn cop s blackface clown painting removed from school February 10 2021 The West Linn Police Department issued a statement that the painting has been removed; school district says it should never have been displayed. A post in the West Linn Open Forum community Facebook group has sparked the removal of a velvet painting depicting a clown in blackface from a school resource officer s office wall at West Linn High School. The officer, Jeff Halverson, said the painting was used as an icebreaker to make students more comfortable talking to a police officer. It s not something the kids are used to seeing a painting of a clown on a police officer s wall … Same thing with staff. Like, Why do you have a velvet painting of a clown? Why wouldn t I, you know? he said. It was a good icebreaker to make people more comfortable. They were talking to a police officer; some of them hadn t done that before. ....
