February 24, 2021BERLIN Berlin-Gorham senior Tyler Rousseau reached a historic milestone this past week at the Notre Dame Arena when he scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win over Laconia-Winnisquam-Inter-Lakes. Not only did his goal give the Mountaineers an early lead, it was also the 100th point of Rousseau s exquisite varsity hockey career, a milestone last reached by Justin Vien in 2016.
The game, which was the second meeting between the two teams on the week, saw Sophomore goaltender Anthony PizzUto record 15 saves in his second shutout of the season. Pizzuto made two particularly fine saves in the second and third periods respectively, keeping the Lakers off the board for the second time in three days (Kolin Melanson earned the shutout in Monday s victory).
