FCA Boss Mike Manley Could Become Ferrari CEO
With Louis Camilleri abruptly leaving the company, the search is on for a new Ferrari CEO. Citing an Italian newspaper, Reuters reports that current Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley is the top choice for the job, and a decision could be made as soon as this week.
At FCA, Manley led both Jeep and Ram to huge success, before taking over as CEO from Sergio Marchionne, who stepped down shortly before passing away. Manley s performance no doubt endeared him to Fiat heir John Elkann, who presides as Ferrari chairman. The Ferrari job should be appealing to Manley, too, as he ll be left out of the board of Stellantis, the new company to be created when FCA and Peugeot-owner PSA complete their merger next year. ....
