City of Lexington Police Chief to retire in February The Dispatch Lexington Police Chief Mark Sink announced on Monday that he will be retiring at the end of February. A 30-year veteran at the Lexington Police Department, Sink was sworn in as Chief of Police in 2015 following the retirement of former chief Tad Kepley. His last day will be on Feb. 28.
