Douglas County ahead of state COVID-19 vaccine rate
As of March 13 data provided by the Minnesota Department of Health, 10,155 people – 27.1% of the counties population (37,513) – have received at least one vaccine dose with 6,556 – 17.5% – completing their vaccine series. Supply has been sporadic but should be more consistent as number of eligible people increases.

As of Monday, March 15, the county’s vaccination rate is better than the states. Statewide, 22.7% have received at least one dose and 13% have completed their series, whereas in Douglas County, 27.1% have received at least one dose and 17.5% have completed their vaccine series. according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
