Police shut down Watford lockdown breaking Covid party

Police were called just after midnight today (Thursday, March 11) to an address in Queens Road, Watford. A large illegal party was in full swing, with 15 people inside the property. The party was clearly pre-planned , Watford Police said. All attendees and the organiser were served with fines for breaching Covid-19 regulations and instructed to leave the property and not return. Shortly after leaving, police received a call stating a man had returned and was trying to force his way back into the Covid party house – he was unaware he was being watched live on the Ring Door Bell. Officers returned and arrested him for criminal damage and possession of cannabis.
