Police spotted the stolen vehicle traveling west on Interstate 105 from Mohawk Boulevard just after 2:45 a.m. Officers attempted to stop the driver near Pioneer Parkway, but the vehicle sped up and a pursuit ensued to the Coburg Road exit where the driver turned around and headed west on the freeway. ....

The areas that will be improved are from G Street to the Highway 126 on-ramp on Mohawk Boulevard and from the intersection of Olympic Street and Mohawk Boulevard to 28th Street. Wildish Construction is contracted for the $3.24 million project, which was approved by Springfield voters. The purpose of the project is to improve the pavement.
