To give further boost to the MoU between NCDC and National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd (NAFSCOB), the dedicated training academy for cooperatives, the Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Cooperative Research and Development (LINAC) launched a five-day online training programme on Project Formulation and Appraisal Techniques Monday.
The training program, fully financed by NCDC under its promotional scheme, is meant for the executives of NAFSCOB, State Cooperative Banks and District Central Cooperative Banks. Executives from State Cooperative Banks of Nagaland, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh and Goa attended the first in the series of training programs. ....

The three virtual reality games will be the first of their kind to support NVIDIA s patented AI-powered supersampling technique, which is pretty neat. But to be able to use DLSS in these games, you ll need an RTX graphics card, either from the 2000 or 3000 series. There s no announcement on when exactly the update rolls out, but it can be safe to assume that these games (for those who own them already) will auto-update via their clients.
With this announcement, it looks like NVIDIA is starting to focus much effort into making DLSS support widespread throughout the industry. AMD, as a result, is also trying to follow suit, with their plans to release FidelityFX Super-Resolution being rumored. ....

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took an aerial survey of Cyclone Tauktae-affected areas in Gujarat and announced financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 crore for immediate relief activities in the state. Expressing solidarity with those affected by the cyclone, the prime minister also announced Rs. 2 lakh Ex-gratia for the next of kin of the dead and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
The prime minister undertook an aerial survey of the cyclone-affected areas in Una (Gir-Somnath), Jafrabad (Amreli), Mahua (Bhavnagar) in Gujarat & Diu. He was accompanied by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and other officials during this visit. ....

Cyclone Tauktae batters Maharashtra, Indian Navy rescues over 130 people onboard barge adrift off Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated that during the day, 479 complaints of falling of trees and branches were received from across Mumbai. Of these, 245 complaints were received from Western suburbs, followed by 156 from the Island city and 78 from the Eastern suburbs.
The civic body also informed that its automatic weather stations recorded an average of 105.44 mm rainfall in the island city till 5 pm, while the eastern and western suburbs recorded 61.13 mm and 114.78 mm rainfall, respectively.
The Mumbai Met department recorded 189 mm rainfall at Colaba observatory while rainfall of 194 mm was recorded at Santacruz till 5.30 pm.
