JAZZ.FM91 has been nominated in the subcategory of “social justice promotion” for our series of Black History Month vignettes, and also in the subcategory of “best two-way telephone talk/interview show” for the weekly series

In February of 2020, JAZZ.FM91 marked Black History Month with an 11-part series of audio vignettes by John Devenish. These segments each put the spotlight on a jazz artist who was instrumental in demonstrating Black excellence and Black resistance through their music and life, while also sending a broader message of reflection and unity. ....
