WASHINGTON — The Rumsey Hall School Board of Trustees has voted unanimously to appoint Ian Craig as the 10th head of school. The decision followed a comprehensive search that gathered community-wide input, a Dec. 21 announcement from the school said.
Craig currently serves as interim head of Metairie Park Country Day School, a pre-K through grade 12 day school in Louisiana.
Craig will begin his tenure as head of school at Rumsey Hall on July 1, 2021.
“I am delighted and honored to be the next Head of School at Rumsey Hall.” said Craig. “From the first faculty member with whom I spoke, to the last, the team’s strong attachment to the School is abundantly clear. The spirit of community is palpable.” ....
