Bringing together the expertise of several top design studios, the reinvention of the Raffles Hotels & Resorts’ property paid tribute to its storied past while laying the groundwork for a new chapter of ‘emotional luxury’. A design-led revamp In the summer of 2019, Raffles Hotel Singapore, which is owned by Katara Hospitality, emerged from a sensitive three-phased restoration that began in early 2017. This flagship Accor property was brought into the 21st century with the addition of newly designed spaces that retained the hotel’s distinct heritage and architecture. ....

President and founder of Alzheimer s Disease Association, Ang Peng Chye, and founder of Mus.za, Esther Ho The fundraising campaign was incepted as founder Esther Ho wished to establish a firm standing in order to help others tide through the time of the pandemic. Butcher’s Block at Raffles Hotel Singapore is a vibrant premium meat restaurant known for its steak (such as the premium cuts of John Stone Grass-fed 28 Days Dry-Aged Angus) and wood-fired cuisine. I may be slightly biased here, but its predominantly elegant cobalt blue interiors is quite a draw to me as well.
