Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant who recently impressed her fans with her stint in Bigg Boss 14 is these days busy in taking care of her mother Jaya. For those unversed, her mom is currently undergoing cancer treatment in a city hospital. Many including Sohail Khan have been sending their prayers for her. In the wake of the same, Vikas Gupta paid a visit to Rakhi's mother and shared the pictures from the meet on Instagram. Alongside the same, he wrote, "Maa is that safety shield which is given to every kid at the time of their birth. When we have our mother, we feel powerful and have the courage to cross every obstacle as if she is in us and we are in her. And if we feel our mother will go away from us, it feels as if our life would go away from us."

Rakhi Sawant's mother Jaya Sawant is battling cancer, a fact that came to light during her recent stay on Bigg Boss 14 where she entered as a challenger. The reality TV star has now requested fans to pray for her mother. "Please pray for mom, she is undergoing cancer treatment," Rakhi posted on Instagram along with a picture of her mother from a chemotherapy session.
Fans and industry colleagues had good wishes for Rakhi's mother.
Actress Rashami Desai posted with a heart emoji: "Will surly pray for her speedy recovery and more important god give her more power. You are stronger then anyone baby your prayer works like magic."

Rakhi Sawant reveals she participated in Bigg Boss 14 even as she was going through a particularly painful phase in life. Although she was under stress, she fought back to entertain people, because her objective for participating in the show was to try and make a comeback in her career. "I fought back. My personal life was also painful. My mother was unwell and she has been undergoing chemotherapy. There was stress in my personal life and I still entertained people. I had so much pressure and responsibility," said Rakhi.

Bigg Boss 14 Grand Finale treated fans with many power-packed performances and shocking twists. For starters, host Salman Khan surprised Rakhi Sawant by inviting her husband Ritiesh into the house. As expected, she was on cloud nine until she was him. Well, it wasn't her husband but actor Riteish Deshmukh who entertained with his witty one-liners and comedy. Rakhi Sawant has been called the entertainer of this season. It was after her entry as a challenger that the show managed to offer what it promised-- ENDLESS ENTERTAINMENT.
While fans and fellow contestants like Devoleena Bhattacharjee and others believed that Rakhi can emerge as the winner, she chose to quit the game at number 5 after accepting Rs 14 lakhs. Like every year, Bigg Boss offered the finalists -- Rubina, Rahul, Aly, Nikki and Rakhi -- money from the winning prize money and quit the game. Last year, Paras Chhabra made the choice and left with money, this year it was Rakhi Sawant.
