As many as 900 students and other teaching and non-teaching staff were vaccinated at the P. Dayananda Pai and P. Satish Pai Government First Grade College, Car Street, in Mangaluru on Monday, as part of a special drive.

EVMS kept in a strong room at the counting centre in Tiruchi on Wednresday.

Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) along with the Voters Verifiable Audit Paper Trail (VVPAT) used for polling in various constituencies in the districts were moved from the polling stations to the notified counting centres in different parts of the central region.
In Tiruchi district, the EVMs belonging to Tiruchi (West) and Tiruchi (East) constituencies were transported to the counting centre at Jamal Mohammed College in Tiruchi while those from Srirangam, Tiruverumbur and Manapparai constituencies were moved to the counting centre at Saranathan College of Engineering at Panjappur on Tiruchi-Madurai Highway. ....

They have to stop when the passenger signals to them to pick them up and also stop at the destinations desired by the passengers. The auto drivers also get admonished by traffic police who are under the instructions of the people, higher ups and influential persons, for creating hurdles in the traffic.
Ideally auto rickshaw parks or stands are needed at junctions for the convenience of the people.
