Sunrise quietly apologise for segment about a 'second stolen generation to help Aboriginal kids'


Sunrise has quietly apologised for its segment discussing whether there was a need for another Stolen Generation.
The apology over the 2018 segment was aired at 6.47am on Monday - before most Australians were even awake. 
A pre-recorded voice over delivered the message and regular hosts Samantha Armytage and David Koch were not present during the episode.

When Wayne Griffiths first went to primary school, it was a terrifying experience.
I grew up in a little town called Curlewis [in northern NSW], and my first day at school was so traumatic I cried most of the morning and eventually I had to be taken home by my eldest brother, he recalls.
