Two vehicles were involved in the collision, and no other injuries have been confirmed, said Richard Mejia, a spokesperson from the LBPD. Police shut down Redondo Avenue in both directions while they investigated. “This is a very dangerous intersection,” said Hugo Ortega, a Long Beach resident who has lived nearby for the past 30 years and has observed frequent crashes in the area. “I’m sick of this.
