Renville County reports encouraging news on COVID-19 front
After a surge in COVID-19 cases in November, Renville County has seen its number of new cases fall to under 10 per day, compared to 20 to 40 a day. Governor s orders and compliance made the difference, the public health director told the Renville County Board of Commissioners.

OLIVIA Renville County reported some encouraging news on a decline in the daily number of new COVID-19 cases.
Jill Bruns, public health director, told the Renville County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday that the case rate has been dropping since it surged in November. The county is currently seeing fewer than 10 newly confirmed cases a day. In November, it was seeing 20 to 40 newly confirmed cases each day. ....

BROWN COUNTY The Minnesota Department of Health reported that Brown County had 30 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bring the number of total cases to 1,760.
Brown County Public Health (BCPH) reported two additional deaths, bringing the county total to 21, 18 new laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Dec. 9 and 30 more on Dec. 10.
Cases ranged in age from teenagers to people in their 80s. ....
