Of the eight, seven are from Oli s own Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist), while the other is from Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP). The JSP s Raj Kishore Yadav was appointed minister of industry, commerce and supplies, Khagaraj Adhikari named as minister of home affairs, and Nayan Kala Thapa and Jwala Kumari Sah were put in charge of the ministry of communication and information technology and the ministry of agriculture respectively, among others.
