Insurers balk at paying full price for telemedicine
Remote health care took off with COVID-19, but that hasn t quieted the debate over how to pay for it. 
And despite concessions that some telemedicine advocates say water this version  down, insurance companies are still objecting.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island said making telemedicine rules created during the pandemic permanent may not necessarily achieve the goals of high quality, affordable care, in written testimony to the Senate Health and Human Services Committee.
The insurer said requiring coverage of care provided by phone without video   is not on par with either in-person or audio-visual care. ....
