ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) â A former neighbor of a Lake James woman has been arrested in connection with her murder.
Steuben County Sheriff Rodney Robinson has announced that 29-year-old Matthew Roland Hoover of Anderson, Indiana has been arrested in connection with the homicide of 82 year old Wilma Ball on June 23rd, 2021.
She was killed in her home at 395 Lane 200 East in rural Pleasant Township.
Robinson says in a news release issued by the Sheriffâs Department the arrest took place âthrough extensive investigative efforts and DNA analysis.â
Hoover was taken into custody in Anderson just after 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
