Why?: There aren’t many players who wore number 95 to make an impact at Kansas State, and certainly Rob Jackson would not be at the top of the list of the greatest defensive ends in school history, but given the context of the time, Jackson was a critical piece in the Wildcats returning to a bowl game in 2006. Jackson’s presence on the edge gave the Wildcats a true strong side defensive end to complement Ian Campbell’s rush on the weak side. Jackson’s statistics aren’t mind blowing, even if they were projected out to 4 seasons for comparison purposes, but Jackson did prove critical in the Wildcats only winning season under Ron Prince. Jackson earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors in each of his seasons for the Cats, and went on to be drafted in the 7th round by the Redskins, for whom ....
