Alleged robbery attempt foiled by man with frying pan

A man’s alleged attempt to rob two people at a Northwest Side apartment with toy gun was foiled with a frying pan early Tuesday, police said.
Ros Robert Villarreal, 21, is charged with robbery and burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a felony. His bail totals $200,000.
San Antonio police were called after Villarreal reportedly robbed a 25-year-old man at gunpoint at about 12:41 a.m. in the 8700 block of Cinnamon Creek Drive, a report said.
After taking the man’s wallet and cellphone, Villarreal jumped a fence and ran to the Spice Creek apartments, 8802 Cinnamon Creek Drive, police said. ....
