Back the Badges blood drive ongoing
Vitalant presents the Back the Badges Blood Drive through Sunday, July 18, to show support for first responders and support blood transfusion needs in the community.
All donors will receive two movie tickets and popcorn from Premier Cinema, a T-shirt, and a family four pack to Joyland (all while supplies last).
Donate at: South Plains Mall (at the previous location of Candy Wrapper by Grand Court) from noon to 6 p.m. daily.
Appointments are recommended and can be scheduled online at vitalant.org

Republican Women to meet
The next meeting of Lubbock Area Republican Women is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, at the Lubbock Women’s Club, 2020 Broadway.
This month’s speaker will be Dr. Wayne Moore, a certified Ken Blanchard SLII leadership trainer. He will be speaking on national security. His interests include Bible study, photography, travel, chess, exercising and cooking. He is a choir member at South Crest Baptist Church in Lubbock.
