LOCKWOOD — Reading is so important for children, but many kids don’t have access to books outside of school. But, if you give a child a book, it can make all the difference.
Recently, Q2 raised over $6,000 as part of its If You Give A Child A Book campaign.
The station teamed up with the Lockwood Intermediate School and ended up giving three books a piece to kids grades 3-5.
On Thursday, those books were officially handed out in the third-grade class, and there were a lot of excited kids. ....
