Two nominees with Arizona ties a Linda Ronstadt documentary and a former Phoenix New Times writer s liner notes picked up Grammy Awards before the broadcast even started Sunday.
The two other nominees, singer Courtney Marie Andrews and the Canyon Records label, did not fare quite as well.
The Recording Academy presented the Awards on Sunday, March 14, with the Emmy-winning host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, presiding.
Four nominees had Arizona ties.
