Lanarkshire police highlight gyms and hairdressers as Covid rule breakers

Gyms and hairdressers flouting Covid lockdown rules more than others, say police
GYMS and hairdressers have been highlighted by police as being "particularly" guilty of breaking lockdown rules.
Inspector Graeme McLaughlin of Bellshill police station singled out the two sectors as being among the most reported to police for flouting strict regulations on non-essential businesses.
Many individuals have been fined and reported to the Procurator Fiscal, he said, claiming that many beauty and personal fitness firms were continuing to operate either from their homes or normal premises.
The Lanarkshire cop added: "Officers in Lanarkshire Division continue to explain the regulations and encourage people to do the right thing.
