A POPULAR Fermanagh singer has released a new single celebrating a GAA great.
Country singer and songwriter Larry Burns s latest single, ‘Fermanagh’s First All-Star’, is based on the career of Fermanagh GAA great Peter McGinty.
The song was written by Eugene Cunningham, and is available on YouTube. Larry hopes that he will be able to release the single at a post-lockdown launch.
Unable to perform as he normally would, Larry and his fellow musicians have been finding new ways to perform, but the pandemic has hit musicians hard, as Larry explained.
“The lockdown has been very difficult on local bands and entertainers – just like many other businesses, we have suffered a lot financially and mentally, but I feel as though we have been forgotten about.” ....
