CASPER The Wyoming high school 4A state track and field meet was held over the weekend in Casper, with a total 16 teams in attendance. Both Rock Springs High School (RSHS) and Green River High School (GRHS) sent teams to the three-day meet to close out the 2021 season. The Green River girls team celebrated a state champion in Lillian Munoz who took first in the 300 meter hurdles. Munoz finished with a time of 45.71, just ahead of Thunder Basin’s Gabby Mendoza. Munoz’s victory contributed 10 team points for the Lady Wolves. Advertisement - Story continues below. The GRHS boys team also saw success. Hayden Roberts took second in the boys high jump and third in the 300 meter hurdles. Teammate Trevor Brangham also took fourth in the boys high jump. Cole Murray also chipped in a few team points for the Wolves with a seventh place finish in the boys discus throw. ....
