Lufkin Police Department releases names of victims, suspect in stabbing incident at convenience store

LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Two people were stabbed on Friday night in Lufkin - one of them a police officer.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Friday night at Lucky’s convenience store on John Reddit Drive.
Lufkin police say they responded to a welfare concern involving 48-year-old Martha Hageon and Alejandro Sanabria, her adult son.
When officers entered the store, Snanbria attacked his mother with a large knife, critically injuring her. As officers tried to stop the attack, Sanabria stabbed 29-year-old Lufkin police officer Gerardo Salinas. ....
