Alexandria man arrested after kidnapping 13-year-old, pressuring her to solicit

An Alexandria man is under arrest for allegedly kidnapping a 13-year-old in Acadia Parish and driving her to Lake Charles where he pressured her to have sex with other men for money.
The victim is thought to be a runaway and Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Chief Deputy Stitch Guillory said she first met 28-year-old Blake Jenkins online.
“It appears that they made a connection on social media, Jenkins went to her residence in Acadia parish, picked her up, and transported her to Lake Charles to one of the local casinos,” said Guillory.
Jenkins is facing kidnapping and human trafficking charges and sits in jail on a 140,000 dollar bond. Guillory said Jenkins also faces a charge of Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. ....

Man accused of trafficking 13-year-old for gas money

An Alexandria man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl, and of trying to use the girl to raise gas money by having sex with other men.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff s deputies were called to a local casino on January 11, after a Louisiana State Police Gaming officer found a 13-year-old girl who had run away from Acadia Parish.
During the initial investigation the girl told detectives she had sexual intercourse with Blake K. Jenkins, 28, Alexandria. When detectives spoke with Jenkins he confirmed he had sexual intercourse with the girl. He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $60,000. ....
