Prince Bixler, 41, of Lexington, Kentucky, was sentenced today by U.S. District Court Judge Robert E. Wier to 36 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release and ordered to pay $333,100 in restitution to three sex trafficking victims.
In September 2020, a federal jury convicted Bixler of 15 federal felonies related to his extensive and violent sex and drug trafficking operation that forced young, drug-addicted women to prostitute and sell crack cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamines throughout the Lexington area. Specifically, the jury convicted Bixler of three counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, two counts of tampering with a witness, victim or an informant, one count of operating an unlawful pros ....

Second defendant in Pike child porn case sentenced to 40 years in prison

A South Carolina man charged in connection with a Pike County child pornography case was sentenced to 40 years in prison this week.
According to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky, on Jan. 25, U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell sentenced Jonathan Manigault, 36, of
Myrtle Beach, to 480 months in prison on charges of production of child pornography and knowingly receiving child pornography.
Manigault’s co-defendant, Christina Brook Mitchell, 31, of King Camp Branch, Phelps, was sentenced in February to serve 35 years in the case.
According to the statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Manigault, who pleaded guilty in the case, admitted that he directed Mitchell to take photographs of a three-year-old victim engaging in sexually explicit conduct. CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A Tennessee man was sentenced to prison for a carjacking in Kentucky.
Keith A Kuzyk was sentenced to 18 years in prison, without parole, followed by three years of supervised release, for a Hopkinsville, Kentucky carjacking on February 18, 2019.
Kuzyk was ordered to pay victim restitution in the amount of $174.
He pleaded guilty to carjacking, use and discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence and being a felon in possession of a firearm. ....
