Texas to receive nearly 600,000 first doses

As Texas’ winter storm finally comes to an end, more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be distributed statewide for the week of Feb. 22. In Henderson County, providers, 10 providers will receive a total of 1,500 doses of the vaccine.
During Week 11 of Texas’ distribution plan, Brookshires Pharmacy in Athens, Mabank, Kemp, and Chandler will each receive 100 doses. In Athens, Renal Care Group, Family Circle of Care, UT Health East Texas, Christus Trinity Mother Frances and Lakeland, as well as Lakeland Medical Associates in Mabank, will each receive 200 doses.
In addition to the weekly allotments, the state is also ordering 364,830 second doses. ....
