A rare notice of motion that would have urged the provincial government to immediately re-open all outdoor recreational facilities was defeated during West Perth’s council meeting May 17.
Put forth by Coun. Jeff Marshall, and seconded by Coun. Murray Rose, the extension of the stay-at-home order by Ontario Premier Doug Ford until at least June 2 has been controversial as it limits citizens from participating in a myriad of outdoor recreational activities.
