North American Midway Entertainment, a company based out of the United States, has set up shop with rides, games and stands at the Calgary Stampede. Before getting to work at the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, the employees had to isolate together for two weeks due to COVID-19 international quarantine rules.

Scooter Korek, vice-president of client services for North American Midway Entertainment, said they were able to use land owned by the Strathmore and District Agricultural Society to house around 180 workers as they were kept away from the general public. In total, the company has about 600 employees in Calgary and the surrounding area.
