VICTORIA, B.C. – Fourteen British Columbians will receive the British Columbia Medal of Good Citizenship for their community service and dedication to helping others, including Rolla resident Donna Kane.
Kane is a renowned writer in the Canadian arts community. As director of the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council, she organized three 75th Aniversary Alaska Highway Arts projects in 2017.
The Alaska Highway songwriting contest engaged regional musicians and built connections in communities along the highway.
